Steeles Law ‘Water Wonderland’ window competition inspired by Jesse’s Anchor

Along with over 40 other businesses, Steeles Law is proud to be taking part in the Diss Town Carnival’s ‘Water Wonderland’ window dressing competition.

The inspiration for Steeles ‘Water Wonderland’ is our charity of the year, Jesse’s Anchor. The window scene is designed to resemble the painting which has recently been painted on a wall at The Norfolk and Norfolk hospital in memory of Jesse who adored the sea life.

Jesse’s Anchor is a local charity which aims to raise as many funds as possible to research rare childhood cancers and is run by Anneka and Michelle Langford-Daley. In February 2017, their son Jesse was diagnosed with an ATRT brain tumour, an aggressive form of cancer which sadly took him from them on June 18th 2017 at the tender age of 1.

In his memory, Jesse’s Anchor has been set up to help support others who are suffering the same tragic events that they have encountered along our journey, to empower parents to make the best decisions they can for their child and to give their child the opportunity to smile through their incredibly tough journey.

The judging is taking place on 7th and 8th June. If you are in Diss’ town centre, then please come past the office to look at the display.
