After being awarded the contract in 2017, the law firm continues to assist with a full range of employment law services including a telephone advice helpline to each of the Hovis® site HR teams. It is one of two major national contracts in the food manufacturing sector for Steeles Law, reflecting the Norwich-based firm’s UK-wide reputation for expertise in this area.
With headquarters in High Wycombe, Hovis® employs 2,700 people at eight bakeries, one flour mill and two regional distribution centres. This contract was the first time Hovis® had chosen to partner with a law firm as its primary employment law provider.
