She handles a full spectrum of family matters including divorce, civil-partnership dissolution, family finances and separation disputes. Emerald advises unmarried couples on separation in respect of their property rights and regularly deals with children matters including child arrangements orders.
Alongside, Emerald’s traditional family practice, she also specialises in contested probate work and has a particular interest in this area. Emerald has experience in advising private individuals on inheritance disputes, Will disputes, claims under the Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) Act 1975 and estate administration issues. Emerald is recommended in the Legal 500 [UK 2021] with clients praise that she is “an extraordinarily competent young lawyer who is realistic, and extremely thorough.”
