Katherine joined the firm as a paralegal in the Wills, Tax and Probate team in 2014 and quickly became a valuable member of the firm working across a variety of practice areas. She then went onto achieve a distinction in her Legal Practice Course which Katherine started in the autumn of 2017 and undertook part-time whilst working at Steeles Law.
‘Katherine is a fantastic asset to the private client team and Steeles Law’ – said Karen Bacon, Head of the Wills, Tax and Probate team. As a Solicitor in the Wills, Tax and Probate Team Katherine will be drafting Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney and dealing with the administration of estates.
It may not be the most conventional time to qualify in to your team whilst working the whole team is working remotely but we are extremely proud of Katherine and her hard work! Principal Solicitor, Amy Taylor within the team said, ‘Katherine has overcome many hurdles to obtain a distinction in her LPC whilst still working full time at Steeles and we are very proud of her achievements’.
‘I have enjoyed my training contract and I have loved the opportunity of gaining experience from other teams however I am so pleased to qualify into the area of law which I enjoy. I love the client contact element to private client I think that is why this area of law suits me the most.’ said Katherine summarising her training experience and delight at working within the Private Client team.
