Ensuring that you have the right legal, tax and financial advice is important when making decisions regarding your wealth. Careful planning and informed decisions can help protect your own financial future and those of the people you care about.

Amy Taylor, a Principal Solicitor in the private client team at Steeles Law, will be co-presenting on the subject of Inheritance Tax and Trusts.

Amy will give an overview of the history of trusts, talk about the different types of trust that exist and how they can protect your assets. Trusts are often seen as complicated arrangements and clients can be overwhelmed by the legal language – Amy intends to make the subject accessible to all to help our clients understand the benefits of Trusts.

What will be covered in the seminar:

    • Using trusts to save tax: Understanding the benefits and dispelling the myths
    • What tax is due? How Inheritance Tax is calculated and the reliefs available
    • Non-trust alternatives: The options available and how diversification can help
