    Graduate recruitment

Our trainee solicitors are important to us, so ensuring we recruit the right people to the company is crucial. Our trainee solicitors will undertake a two year contract and be expected to work out of any of our offices.

    How and when to apply

We do not currently have any trainee positions available. All positions have been filled, up to and including September 2023.

    Our training contracts

Over the two year training contract, trainee solicitors will experience both contentious and non contentious work. We ensure that all our trainee solicitors are involved in their seat allocation process and their preferences, along with SRA requirements and the needs of the business, are taken into consideration when seats are decided. Seats may include: commercial property, conveyancing, corporate and commercial, dispute resolution, employment, family and wills, probate and tax.

We aim to develop high calibre practitioners who are more than just lawyers. We aspire that our legal specialists will be able to think on their feet and provide positive solutions to any problem they may encounter. We encourage all our trainee solicitors from day one to become involved in company life and to gain hands on experience. Attendance at marketing and networking events is essential from the start to enable our trainee solicitors to develop their business development skills and build professional contacts.

Our mentoring and appraisal systems provide support and guidance throughout the training contract. The supervisor from each seat that our trainee solicitors undertake completes a mid-seat review and an end of seat review. The appraisal is an opportunity for both the team supervisor and trainee solicitor to review performance and to set objectives for the future to give trainees the opportunity to learn and develop the essential skills for the future.
