Are your PSC registers in place yet?

The legal requirement for companies to keep a register of persons of significant control (PSCs) came into force on 6 April 2016. All companies and LLPs should now have a register in place and be taking reasonable steps to identify any "persons of significant control" (PSCs).

On 12 April BIS published revised non-statutory guidance on how the PSC register will work in practice, including guidance for those who think they may be PSCs. You can find more information and the new versions of the guidance here.

If you have any queries, or require any assistance to identify who your company’s persons of significant control (PSCs) are, please contact the Steeles Law Corporate and Commerical team by calling 01603 598000 or emailing commercial@steeleslaw.co.uk and a member of the team will be happy to contact you back directly.
